About Me

I have been a home sewer for 30+ years providing friends and family with tailor made garments and just about anything I could sew myself. Over the years I have lost count of the number of garments I have made for other people — bridesmaid’s and flower girl’s dresses; fun, summer dresses; party dresses; tailored waistcoats, trousers and skirts; wedding dresses - including my own — whatever has been requested of me really. When we moved to Pukekohe at the end of 2015, I decided I’d try to make my passion my income. I had had a strong desire to work from home for many, many years and after 35+ years in an office environment I was ready for a change!
So, if you have a special event coming up and want something that you know no one will have a duplicate of; if you have a favourite item of clothing that just doesn’t fit well anymore; a favourite piece of clothing that is torn or worn; you want a special soft toy made; curtains; cushions etc. - or maybe you just want to revamp your wardrobe — just give me a call and let’s create something special.
